The A.M. Smith Block depicted here was originally constructed in the 1870’s by David Dudley. Dudley sold the building to A.M. Smith in 1880. The building was destroyed by June of 1909.

The A.M. Smith Block was rebuilt in 1911 after it was destroyed by fire in 1909. The second picture is today’s original building from 1911.
