Presque Isle Opera House in 1942. It was destroyed by fire in April of 1947. The most recent picture was taken in 2012

Oak Hotel on Academy Street opened in 1941. The building was destroyed in 1975.  Today's building was built in 1986.

Corner of Main and Church Streets C. 1930. Wooden structure on the right later became the police station until 1951.
