How do people adapt to, change, or depend on the environment?

- natural events/disasters
- reservoirs, bridges, tunnels, irrigation

PLACE:
What is it like there? What are the physical and human characteristics?
- landforms (mountains, plains, hills)
- bodies of water (rivers, lakes, oceans)

- food, music, art, customs, holidays
MOVEMENT:
How do people, goods, and ideas get around?

REGION:
What areas have common characteristics? What is the history? What type of government is there?
