The University Health Service is located in the center of campus at Emerson Annex with a Nurse Practitioner available during the semester to the college community. The health service is committed to the holistic approach of health care delivery.
Vitality comes from wellness: a state of optimal physical, emotional, spiritual and social well-being. To provide wellness, the campus health service offers a wide range of services and health education. Some of the educational services include healthy lifestyle diets, assistance with smoking cessation, sexual health education and the prevention of communicable diseases. The health service can also assist with immunization compliance issues and information regarding the UMPI Student Health Insurance Plan.
Students are welcome to stop in Monday through Friday (excluding holidays/snow days), 1-5 p.m. Appointments may be scheduled (207) 768-9585. Walk-ins are welcome.
