New month, time for a new podcast of The Writer’s Room! Belen Dougherty, editor of the University Times, joins Dr. Tomasz Herzog and Professor Jen Lynds to weigh, “Do Facts Matter?” Following the election and appointment of personnel in the Trump administration, one considers whether Americans prioritize truth or politics. Leaders are elected or assigned to posts notwithstanding allegations of rape, sexual assault, or adultery. Individuals lacking qualifications preside over departments. Each allegation or investigation constitutes a “witch hunt.” What changed in America? Was it culture and society, or was it us? Click to listen!
