Linda Mastro examining a student.

The University of Maine at Presque Isle Health Service would like to welcome you to our campus for the fall 2018 semester!

The goal of the Health Service is to promote good health and academic success.  The transition into college is significant and can often cause anxiety to students as well as parents.  Students are away from home, friends and their primary health care provider.  The Health Service is committed to supporting our students and providing easy access to health care on campus.  Our school nurse, Linda Mastro NP, is a certified registered nurse practitioner and a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. She has practiced in the Presque Isle area for 33 years and has been involved in college health for 25 years.

The Health Service is able to make referrals for counseling with an onsite licensed social worker.  He is available for counseling throughout the semester, Monday through Friday afternoons.  Please call us to get more information or schedule an appointment.
