Rosie is a friendly calico cat looking for a home. She is a spayed 10-year-old female who weighs around nine pounds, and is currently at the Central Aroostook Humane Society. She is very loveable and really likes to be petted.
“A lot of people look at the age and get deterred,” CAHS manager Betsy Hallett said.
Rosie is still very active for her age and likes to play, especially with cat toys.
“10 years is old but still a lot of life. She’s a sweet, sweet girl,” employee Desiree St. Peter said.
Rosie would do best in a home with no dogs, but she seems to do fine with other cats. A relaxed home that could use a lap cat would be a great fit for this kind kitty.
