- Using the hot glue, attach the top of the cylinder box to the base of the cone. Add rocks or rice, then use glue to seal the top to the bottom of the cylinder box “stump.”
How step 3 should look when completed. The lid to the cylinder box is sealed and attached to the base of the cone.
To cover up the cardboard roll, we chose to wrap the stumps in jute string. This is optional, but we thought it looked cute.
I cut cardboard circles measuring slighty bigger than the paper towel roll and secured it to the paper towel roll with hot glue.
This is what the stump looks like finished.
- Attach any trinkets to the top of the tea tree. Voila!
