Many people have that one favorite dish that they cannot wait for on Christmas. The Blanchard family makes their Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve so that they don’t have to wait a day longer. Green bean casserole is the only dish that Margaret will make every year only on Christmas Eve. But she has to make a big dish of it because the whole family goes for the casserole first. “I make sure I get as much as I can on my plate so I don’t have to worry about not getting any,” Mikayla said. Green bean casserole is a Blanchard family must have. Margaret has been making this dish ever since she could cook. Her mom taught her and now she is teaching her grandkids how to make it.
