A man in a chair, centered by his tie, or could it be a noose? A wistful woman, sitting by resplendent flowers. These are just some of the artwork on display at the Reed Gallery as part of the \u201cDirector\u2019s Choice: Favorite Selections From The University Collection.\u201d The exhibition includes sculptures, paintings, prints, drawings, and more. Some of the work is from acclaimed sculptor Bernard Langlais. The artist, born in Old Town, ME, crafted the \u201cThe Owls\u201d totem pole on campus. In 2014, the Wisconsin-based Kohler Foundation, Inc. donated 800 of his works on paper sketchbooks and thirty sculptures and wall reliefs.
