Williams started his educational journey studying secondary English, but he says, \u201cI realized I wouldn\u2019t be happy.\u201d Therefore, he pursued his passion for art inspired by his very own good art education teachers.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Will has moved to Presque Isle, Maine from Datton, Ohio due to UMPI\u2019s affordable tuition.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve taken my first classes at Umpi this semester\u201d Williams explains, \u201cI\u2019ve already taken art through AP classes\u201d (college accredited courses in highschool).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Williams describes his art as \u201cmainly portraits or people\u201d and explains how he likes to explore colors and mixed media. Williams joked that there are many eyes looking down on you in his dorm because he doesn\u2019t like to step outside his portrait art style.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Williams explains that art and education at UMPI correlate for his education \u201cafter this semester, all my classes are solely art and education oriented. Learning how to teach, ways in which to teach, engage with students, and more!\u201d Williams tells me he wants his classroom to be a safe and comfortable environment. He is inspired by his great art teachers from high school.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank you for chatting with me, Will!
