Six years later, Justin Waceken and Caryn Boutaugh get to plan their big day together. \u201cI proposed in November of 2020. The experience was more exciting than scary for me. I was excited to see Caryn\u2019s reaction and for all that the future would hold after I proposed,\u201d Justin said.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Justin and Caryn originally met in school. \u201cWe met in 2015 in high school. We were in jazz band together and we work for the same place, too. As we were working and going to school, we started talking more,\u201d Caryn said. \u201cI worked center store at Hannaford stocking shelves. Caryn worked at the front-end registers. We worked a lot of evening and closing shifts. Me and Caryn both like the outdoors. We also enjoy always being busy, whether it be hanging out with friends, exploring or playing games together,\u201d Justin said. \u201cWe started dating almost seven years ago and it was a couple of months in when we exchanged \u2018I love yous.\u2019 I think I said it first.\u201d<\/span><!--nextpage--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0And since those days, they have only grown closer. \u201cWe\u2019ve grown up together. We have been through college, and we\u2019ve really been able to see each other grow in many ways. It feels right to be together and work together to help each other achieve our goals,\u201d Caryn said.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0A one-of-a-kind girl to Justin deserved a one-of-a-kind ring. \u201dI found a ring online I really liked and knew that it was the one I wanted to give her. I went to Dave\u2019s Jewelers\u2019 website, and it said they had just one of that ring in stock out of the six or seven Dave\u2019s Jewelers located near me,\u201d Justin said. The engagement ring he chose for Caryn is from the Forevermark Black Label collection with an oval cut to the center diamond.\u00a0 He knew his chances were low to get that exact ring. \u201cI wasn\u2019t expecting them to have it on the day I went. I went to a random Dave\u2019s Jewelers.\u00a0 And it just happened to be the one store carrying the one ring I had wanted! It was a sign. Like it was meant to be. She is a very bubbly, fun person, and we have many great memories together. She is special to me because she has a heart of gold,\u201d Justin said.\u00a0 And Justin has enriched Caryn\u2019s life. \u201cHe\u2019s creative, smart, funny, motivated and dedicated. When he puts his mind to something, he follows through with it,\u201d Caryn said. Out of four billion people on the planet, Justin and Caryn have found each other. It was meant to be.
