Paula Siddiqui, who is a local artist from Caribou, Maine, instructed its paint night. The fun activity was in hopes of raising funds for a trip to Washington, D.C.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>That planned trip will create connection and further business knowledge.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>As co-president Brooke Varney said, \u201cThe club hoped to bring the campus and outside community together for this fun activity.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Besides bringing a lot of fun to people, the activity was particularly to celebrate Halloween.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>And it even let participants learn a lot of painting skills outside of class and school.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>\u201cWe both had so much fun. She loves painting, and this is her first time to paint canvases. Now she has a new technique,\u201d Rachel Rice, director of UMPI\u2019s community and media relations, said of her daughter, Naomi Rice.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Together they created a beautiful owl painting.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>The next business club painting night will be held on Nov. 30.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Everyone is welcome to join in.
