There is a young cat at the Aroostook County Humane Society who is in need of a great home. Her name is Katie and she\u2019s approximately a year old. She\u2019s an adorable cat who is very loving and affectionate.
\n<\/p>\n

Katie is a special example of a loving animal. While she has been with ACHS she has taken in two litters of kittens that weren\u2019t hers. She was a great mother to her own kittens as well as two other litters. Dezarai St. Peter, an employee at ACHS commented on how hard it is to find a cat that will do that.<\/p>\n

She\u2019s also playful, but very gentle while she plays. She loves being petted and lying on your things, as most cats do. She doesn\u2019t mind being held and loves attention.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s been here six months and many cats go stir crazy but she didn\u2019t,\u201d St. Peter said. \u201cShe\u2019s definitely an optimist and she\u2019s very cute.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe way Katie crawled into my lap it was easy to see how she adopted another cat\u2019s kittens, she was so loving,\u201d Alexander Kimball said. Kimball goes to the shelter regularly.<\/p>\n

Overall she is a great cat and would make a great addition to a loving family. She\u2019s located in the cat room at the ACHS and she\u2019d love a visit.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
