Arriving on campus from Georgetown, Texas, he was drawn by the chance to reconnect with his former high school teammate, Hector Perez. Perez is a sophomore on UMPI\u2019s baseball team. Golman also yearns to play baseball again, and feels most excited about experiencing college baseball and everything that comes with it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color has-small-font-size wp-elements-2341de62f952f13767cc6df8d37d8dce\">He has transitioned smoothly from high school to college.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color has-small-font-size wp-elements-66c420c8bdfd4a34af58ce760aa04f98\">&nbsp;\u201cIt\u2019s been pretty relaxing and easy. Honestly, it feels more laid back compared to high school, but still really fun,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color has-small-font-size wp-elements-cbc2a4b1dda2a1e977f166a1caa4c26c\">This semester, Ronnie looks forward to bonding with his teammates, making new friends, and seeing where the baseball season takes him. His personal goal at UMPI is ambitious: to break the stolen base record during his time here.&nbsp;If he had to describe UMPI in three words, he would choose <em>fun<\/em>, <em>unique<\/em>, and <em>small<\/em>.
